SHOW OPENS GATES WEDNESDAY

About 20 foreign countries and over one thousand exhibitors have so far confirmed participation at this year’s Agriculture and Commercial Show.
The event starts Wednesday and ends on August 6, under the theme Sustainable Economic Empowerment.
Meanwhile, preparations for the show have advanced and Show Society President, Caroline Silwamba says exhibitors are currently doing final touches to their stands.
Ms Silwamba has explained that from the over 1-thousand exhibitors, 1-hundred and 6 are foreign.
She said this year’s event will have seminars for show-goers, especially in the agriculture sector, in areas such as the importance of building resilience in livestock production for farmers.
