SHAKAFUSWA ARRESTED

Police in LUSAKA have charged and arrested Mandevu Constituency Member of Parliament, CHRISTOPHER SHAKAFUSWA for proposing violence.

Police Spokesperson, RAE HAMOONGA has confirmed to ZNBC News today.

Mr HAMOONGA said on May 3rd, 2023, Mr. SHAKAFUSWA is alleged to have proposed violence to people that had assembled at the residence of former First lady ESTHER LUNGU in Ibex Hill in Lusaka.

He said the law maker further incited them to attack police officers who were on duty executing a search warrant.

Mr. HAMOONGA said that the accused has since been released on police bond and will appear in court soon.
