UPND Secretary General Batuke Imenda says Zambia has remained off track towards attaining the sustainable development goal number 1 and 2 on nutrition by 2030.
Mr. Imenda says this is why food insecurity and malnutrition have remained to be a challenge that the country faces.
He is explains that the new dawn administration will remain focused to change the narrative towards food security and malnutrition.
Mr. Imenda said this in a speech read for him by UPND Party Chairperson for Energy Charles Kaisala during a nutrition consultative meeting in Lusaka
And Civil Society Scaling Up nutrition Alliance Executive Director Mathews Mhuru commended the UPND for showing political will by putting up a committee to look at nutrition.
