Scouting Report: Arrows quartet impress Chipolopolo coach

Chipolopolo coach Aljosa Asanovic singled out four players from the Red Arrows’ demolition of Nkana on Saturday at Nkoloma Stadium, the ZamFoot Crew can exclusively reveal.

The 56 year old was on a scouting mission as he watched his first league match since he was given a 4 year deal by FAZ a week ago.

Asanovic watched from the VIP stand as Chisi Mbewe’s Airmen finally ended their 10 matches winless streak against Nkana.

Ricky Banda has impressed many fans with his altitude at Nkoloma Stadium. He could be Patson Daka’s understudy at the national team. Remember where you read it first!

It is believed Red Arrows strikers Joseph Phiri and Ricky Banda caught the eye of the Croatian born coach.

While Phiri has been at Arrows in the last 5 seasons, it is a debut season for Banda.

Joseph Phiri is expected to be called to the national team camp next month

Both players were on the scoresheet against Kalampa.

Banda was signed from Jumulo after spending a season on loan at Indeni under Mwenya Chipepo.

The other two players to impress Asanovic are Congolese defender Tresor ‘The Businessman’ Tshibwabwa and Malian dynamite Allasane Diarra.

Defender Tresor Tshibwabwa was a marvel to watch especially in the first half. Three out of 4 in this image impressed Asanovic.

Tshibwabwa has been arguably the best defender in the league in the last 18 months.

Diarra found himself at Arrows via Kafue Celtic after he arrived from Bamako, Mali a few seasons ago.

George Simbayambaya was unplayable in the midfield against Nkana and gave the likes of Diarra, Phiri and Banda to attack
