Higher Education Minister Nkandu Luo says investment in Science and Technology will enhance the country’s development.
Professor Luo says science and technology cannot be underestimated because they have the potential to develop the nation.
She says this is why President Edgar Lungu created the Ministry of Higher Education because Science, Technology and Innovations are key to national development.
Professor Luo, said  this today when  she delivered  an  Address at the two days Global Research and Development summit taking place in Hyderabad India .
Speaking during the same event, Sangita Reddy, Senior Vice President of FICCI and joint Apollo Hospital said India is looking for commitment to share knowledge in Science and Development so that no one is left behind.
Meanwhile, the summit has attracted a number of renowned Scientists and Researchers in India, as they seek to partner with Africa on the best practices that can enhance development in Ethiopia, Rwanda and Zambia.
