By Mercy Mwepa:National Science Centre Director, Benson Banda has challenged schools to take production Units as business opportunities.Dr. Banda noted that most schools, both in urban and rural areas, are NOT utilising the abundant natural resources.He, however, says most financial challenges in schools will start to be addressed, once they begin to harness the resources, within their surroundings.Dr. Banda was speaking in Kasama, Northern province, when he made a presentation on the National Policy on Production Units, at a 2-days meeting for school Head teachers.And General Education Permanent Secretary, Jobbicks Kalumba urged the teachers to use the National Science Centre for training in capacity building.
