Ronald ‘Sate Sate’ Kampamba scored a brace for Nkana to help them salvage a point against Nkwazi as the Kitwe side twice came from behind to draw 2 – 2 in a rescheduled match played on Wednesday.
Nkana were looking to get some consistency in their run on results having failed to pick back to back in the league since September 2018 (8 months).
Despite naming a strong starting XI, it was the hosts Nkwazi who went ahead in the 28th minute through Eric Chomba
Kampamba leveled in the 52nd minute before Kebson Kamanga scored the second for Nkwazi in the 56th minute.
Sate Sate completed his brace in the 90th minute to deny Nkwazi the three points that would have taken them within a point of log leaders Green Eagles who have 27 points.
The result still saw Nkwazi leap frog Buildcon to go second on 25 points as they chase a continental spot.
Nkana on the other hand have a huge challenge to make up ground on points and game which were rescheduled. They are currently 7th on the log with 16 points and three games in hand.
Their congested fixture list is also not helping much at this stage.
