Sampa: Delimitation Is Catalyst for Development

Kasama Central Member of Parliament Kelvin Sampa said the delimitation exercise which is currently under way in the district is a catalyst for development in the area.Mr. Sampa said Kasama district which has two constituencies, Lukashya and Kasama Central, is too vast making it difficult to monitor developments.He stated that the two constituencies need to be split for effectively management.The Kasama Central MP, who was speaking during the on-going delimitation exercise in Kasama, has since called on stakeholders to work together in order to reach consensus.Meanwhile Caritas Kasama has expressed happiness with the Electoral Commission of Zambia for involving key stakeholders in the delimitation process.Caritas Kasama Governance Officer, Richard Zulu said the exercise has been all inclusive.
