Rescheduled fixtures: Zesco and Nkana in Lusaka this afternoon

The Capital City, Lusaka will this afternoon host two mouthwatering MTN/FAZ Super League rescheduled fixtures.

Nkwazi welcomes defending Champions, Zesco United in a rescheduled week 13 encounter at Edwin Imboela Stadium while Zanaco battle Nkana at Sunset Stadium in a Week 8 affair.

The Bankers are eying escaping the relegation zone with a win today while Nkana will go top with a win over the Bankers.

Nkana is on a three-match winning streak while Zanaco has gone seven league games without a single win but managed a 3-0 win over Esae FC of Benin in the CAF Confederation Cup on Sunday.

A lot is at stake here and a win for either side will result in movement on the table though on opposite ends.

Nkwazi vs Zesco United

High Flying Nkwazi is finally out of the relegation zone and will be hoping to move 13th place but face a wounded Zesco United side that has only managed four points in their last four league games and are on the blink of CAF Champions League elimination.

Zesco United who started the league like a train without brakes has been going through bad patch in the last month but facing struggling Nkwazi is a chance to get back on track.

A win for Zesco United can take them to either the summit or Second place depending on the result between Zanaco and Nkana.
