The MTN/FAZ Super League is currently postponed indefinitely due to the Worldwide outbreak of the Coronavirus as part of the precautionary measures to eradicate the deadly virus.

However here are few things you need to remember, Forest Rangers is still top of the log, Zanaco is still unbeaten in the league under coach Chris Kaunda and Lusaka Dynamos are still unbeaten in 2020.

FOLE MALEMBE

The Ndola based side is having one of the best if not their best ever season and if they can hold on a bit they might just win the league for the first time in their history.

They lead the table with 46 points from 24 games of which they have won 13, drawn 7 and only lost four. They have scored 30 goals and allowed 17.

Ghanian forward Zikiru Adams is the clubs’ top goalscorer with eleven strikes to his name.

They still have a long way to go when the league finally resumes but hey, they have come this far so it’s okay for them to dream, who knows and besides dreams do come true.

ZANACO STILL UNBEATEN IN THE LEAGUE UNDER CHRIS KAUNDA

Chris Kaunda suffered his first loss as Sensational Zanaco head coach on March 1st after going eleven games without a loss.

However, the Bankers are still unbeaten in the league under Chris Kaunda winning seven out of 8 games with one draw.

Zanaco players Lawrence Chungu, Ziyo Tembo and Charles Zuluiin training.

In total, Kaunda has been in charge of 13 games of which Zanaco has won 10, drawn two and only lost once.

INVINCIBLE LD

Lusaka Dynamos are six points away from the top and enjoying fine form as they are unbeaten in the last 10 games but most importantly they are yet to record a defeat in 2020.

Their last loss came on 28th December 2019 when they suffered a 4-2 defeat away in Kabwe at the Godfrey Ucar Chitalu Stadium.

Since then they have played 10 games, winning seven and drawing three without losing a single match. They have collected 24 points from a possible 30 which is an impressive return.

The Ian Bakala tutored outfit has scored 17 goals in that time and only conceded 6 goals. Cameroonian forward Baba Basile has accounted for 52.9 percent of the 17 goals (9 goals).

They managed to beat Zanaco, Nakambala Leopards, Lumwana Radiants, Power Dynamos, Mighty Mufulira Wanderers, Red Arrows and Kansanshi Dynamos while they were held by Napsa Stars, Green Buffaloes, and Nkana.

THE BASILE SHOW

Baba Basile is proving to be a germ in his own right and is scoring goals for fun.

Basile had a slow start to the season with only six goals in the first 15 games of the season but has somehow found his form and managed to score 9 goals in ten games.

He leads the goalscorers chart with 15 goals and is closely followed by 2012 AFCON winner James Chamanga who has managed to net 14 goals for Red Arrows.
