Relegation threatened MUZA and Circuit City fire blanks

The 2019 MTN/FAZ Transitional Super League entered Week 15 with Stream B relagation Candidates Maestro United Zambia (MUZA) hosting fellow strugglers Circuit City at Nakambala Stadium in Mazabuka.

Both teams recently faced defeats and this encounter was an opportunity to revamp their hopes of staying in the Super league. The Keith Mweemba sponsored side had their earliest of chance after an attack from Daniel Chewe but Baba Basile took too much time to decide in the end it was a wasted opportunity. Circuit City settled faster with wingers Richard Zulu and Biston Banda giving hell to MUZA defenders, Thier beautiful runs did not account to anything however thanks to good goalkeeping from former Nakambala Shoot-stopper Reagan Kalobota.

Both teams continued firing blanks with Rodwell and Martin coming Close but it seems they were missing their scoring boots. Circuit City came close with in-form young striker Biston Banda who was handed golden chance after a defensive error but he’s shot went wide.

In the end it was FC Muza 0:0 Circuit City, with both teams dream of survival facing a big set back.
