Red Arrows shift focus to Charity Shield

Zambian Champions Red Arrows have now shifted their attention to the 2024 Carling Black Label Samuel ‘Zoom’ Ndhlovu Charity Shield.

After losing to YANGA SC on Day of Mwanachi, Chisi Mbewe’s side will now focus on winning their chance to add to their trophy cabinet with another silverware.

The Airmen face Kabwe Warriors in the Zambian Breweries sponsored Charity shield on Saturday at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.

The Airmen recently pocketed $30,000 after they won  the 2024 CECAFA Dar Port Kagame Interclub Cup title in Tanzania.

Last season, Arrows won  both the MTN Super League and the ABSA Cup.

Chisi Mbewe will use this match to continue his fine tuning for the CAF Champions League.

Arrows will clash against Nyasa Big Bullets of Malawi in the 1st Preliminary Round of the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League 2024/25.

The two legged tie will take place between 16th and 25th August.

Should Arrows win over two legs, the Zambia Air Force sponsored outfit will face TP Mazembe of DRC in the 2nd Preliminary Round in September.

The gates will open at 10h00 at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium and fans stand the chance to win various prizes right before the match.
