FAZ Division One side Real Nakonde has suspended their head coach Emmanuel Chimfwembe and have opened investigations in connection to the scam that was unearthed by the Football Association of Zambia that found some Muchinga Province clubs with Forged cards.

In a press statement by club secretary Roy Nyambe and made available to the ZamFoot crew, The club deny any involved in the scam and assured FAZ and the football family that they will get to the bottom of the scam.

“Real Nakonde FC has since suspended Mr Emmanuel Chimfwembe after the team he led was found in possession with forged cards. The club (Real Nakonde) has no hand in this scam and will definitely get to the root of this,” Part of the statement said.

Nyambe stressed that Chanda Chikoti was their player and they suspect the technical bench forged his card after it was lost instead of just asking for a reprint. In the case of Evans Chama the club does not know why and how his card was forged.

“Chanda Knox Chikoti – in the case of Chanda Chikoti , The player is dully registered with Real Nakonde FC but it seems they lost the card and instead of asking for a reprint they decided to forge.”

” In the case of Evans Chama the club cannot tell exactly how and why the technical bench forged but will get to the bottom of it.”
