Speaking when he inspected the works on the bridge, Mr. Ndhlovu says by working on the bridge, the agency has restored connectivity of people in Mwanjabantu Chiefdom.
Mr. Ndhlovu says the agency’s works on the bridge follows a directive by Special Assistant to the President for Project Implementation and Monitoring Andrew Chellah.
And Mr. Ndhlovu has also advised the people of Petauke against vandalizing bridges because they are expensive to maintain.
Meanwhile, RDA Eastern Region Technician Works Gideon Sinkutwa said the works where completed within 2 weeks in line with the directive.
Mr. Sinkutwa said the delays on the works was because of the procurement of timber which was being brought from another district.
