Pupils In Exam Classes Happy With Reopening Of Schools

As schools reopen today for selected grades as directed by the ministries by General Education and Health, most schools in Lusaka have shown readiness to resume classes.

A check at Burma secondary school, Kamwala secondary school, lotus secondary, Olympia and Rhodespark schools have revealed their readiness to open as washing points were spotted around the schools.

And some pupils in exam classes have expressed happiness with the reopening of schools today by the government saying it will allow them to catch up on the syllabus.

Those talked to by Phoenix News say the reopening of classes is a progressive move but however want to be assured of security during the election period.

And some parents talked to say school closures have had a serious impact on the children as most of them have become reluctant on studies hence the reopening of schools is a positive development.
