Presidential parley speech not fulfilling-NAREP

The National Restoration Party (NAREP) says the presidential speech during the official opening of parliament was not fulfilling.

NAREP spokesperson Bwalya Nondo has told Q news that the President’s speech was not different from his past speeches.

Mr Nondo says the speech did not adequately address important issues such as the economic situation of the country.

He says the country is going through a lot of economic difficulties and people needed to hear an action oriented speech that should have addressed such issues.

Mr Nondo adds that job creation is a mechanism transmission in the fight against poverty, the reason why it should be prioritised.
