PRESIDENT LUNGU WISHES RUPIAH BANDA QUICK RECOVERY

President Edgar Lungu has wished the former Republican President Rupiah Banda quick recovery as he fights cancer of the colon.

President Lungu says his sources of inspiration are in the surviving former Presidents of Zambia, Dr Kenneth Kaunda, and Mr.  Banda.

He says that he is impressed that Mr. Banda has disclosed his current health status to the nation.

President Lungu says this shows that it is a mark of love for the country and its people.

He has since urged Zambians to wish him a quick recovery.

This is according to a statement issued to ZNBC through State House Special Assistant to President for Press and Public Relations Isaac Chipampe.
