Pres. Lungu Swears Promoted Service Chiefs

President Edgar Lungu has advised provincial police chiefs against forging unholy alliances with criminals and also stay clear of politics to avoid being compromised.

Speaking during the swearing in ceremony of Zambia Air Force Deputy Commander Major General Kapotwe Chintu and Deputy Inspector General Of Police Bonny Kapeso at State House today, President Lungu, further called on promoted men in office to ensure their juniors are motivated at all times.

The president has sworn in Major General Kapotwe Chintu and former Southern Province Police Commissioner, Kapeso and Diamond Likashi, as new Southern Province Police Chief and urged them to perform to his expectations.

And newly appointed Deputy Inspector General of Police In charge Of Operations Kapeso has pledged to ensure adherence of law and order in Lusaka Province further indicating that he will not tolerate unruly behaviour from political cadres.
