Pres. Lungu Dates Rufunsa

President Edgar Lungu this morning will go back to the campaign front when he touches Rufunsa on his continued introduction of ruling party candidates.

The Head of State who on Tuesday had a campaign trip in the nearby Chongwe District introducing candidates will head to Rufunsa before touching Luangwa on Friday.

He has been shuttling between routine office duties and the campaign roll as the country gears for the August 11 general elections.

Former sports minister in the MMD government Kenneth Chipungu is contesting the Rufunsa seat on the ruling party ticket. Chipungu is, however, unpopular among constituents and the ruling party is urged to work extremely hard to capture the slot.
