Political Parties Welcome Nshindano

By Patricia Banda-Some Political parties have welcomed the appointment of Patrick Nshindano as Electoral Commission of Zambia -ECZ- Chief Electoral officer.UPND secretary general Steven Katuka said his party remains optimistic that the character of Mr. Nshindano and his experience as an advocate of good governance will turn around the fortunes of ECZ in regaining public confidence.And National Restoration Party- NAREP- central province spokesperson Frank Sichone says his party would like to see Mr Nshindano spearhead voter education so that more people are sensitized.Mr Sichone says there is also need for the commission to start working on voter register in time before the 2021 general elections.PF Secretary general Davies Mwila added that the party will give a statement in due time on the appointment of Mr Nshindano .Mr, Nshindano has taken over from Chomba Chella who recently separated from the commission on personal grounds.
