POLICE: Three people Die in Ndola-Kapiri Highway Road Traffic Accident

THREE people have died while six others among them a driver have sustained serious injuries in a road accident which happened on Monday, August, 13th 2018 around 15:30 hours on the Ndola -Kapiri road.The accident involved a lone Toyota Noah registration number ACR 2255 which was being driven by Daniel Hara aged 37 of Ndeke Overspill in Ndola while the accident occurred at Lwampesa area on the said road.Police Spokesperson Esther Katongo has confirmed in a statement to Mwebantu.Katongo said the deceased have been identified as Namasiku Muletetwi aged 59 of Kapiri Mponshi’s Riverside, who died on the spot; Mabvuto Hara aged 46 of Ndeke Overspill in Ndola who died on the way to Ndola Teaching Hospital and Beatrice Mwanza aged between 20 and 25 years who died at Mishikishi Rural Health center.She said the accident happened when the driver lost control of the motor vehicle due to excessive speed, which later careered off the road and overturned.She said the injured were rushed to Ndola Teaching Hospital for medical attention.
