Police Engage In Midnight Physical Confrontation With M’membe At The Post Premises

Police are engaging in a midnight physical confrontation with Post Newspaper owner Fred M’membe.

This is after Post employees were denied access to their premises after the court issued an order to the Zambia Revenue Authority to vacate the newspaper offices were they had set base with armed police for a week now.

Despite a court order, police started towing vehicles belonging to Post Newspaper employees.

BELOW IS AN ALERT THE POST ISSUED AT MIDNIGHT

Police are towing away vehicles belonging to Post employees who have gone back to their offices on Bwinjimfumu road following a court order restraining the ZRA from seizing Post property.

Armed police are now fighting with Fred M’membe at the newspaper’s entrance on Bwinjimfumu road.

Citizens who are nearby and media please rush to Bwinjimfu to witness this.
