Denmark 🇩🇰: Another assist for Chilufya
Edward Chilufya Junior assisted a goal for the FC Midtjyland side that continued its fine start to the league after beating Silkeborg IF 3-1 in a Danish Super League encounter played this afternoon.
Chilufya played the first hour of the match. He has now scored one goal and assisted three times in six league matches this season.
Midtjyland are currently top of the table with 17 points from seven matches, a point above second-placed Aarhus.
Italy 🇮🇹 : Lameck Banda v Mutandwa
Lameck Banda played the first 75 minutes for the US Lecce side that registered its first league win of the season after beating Cagliari Calcio 1-0 in an Italian Serie A round three encounter played this evening at Via Del Mare.
Compatriot Kingstone Mutandwa was an unused substitute for Cagliari who recorded their first loss of the season having drawn the first two matches.
Banda and Mutandwa are now expected to join the Chipolopolo Boys camp in Bouake in a few-days-time, ahead of Friday’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations matchday one qualifier against Ivory Coast.
Germany 🇩🇪: Lubambo continues to shine
Chipolopolo skipper Lubambo Musonda assisted the last goal as 1.FC Magdeburg picked up an impressive 4-0 away to FC Nürnberg in a German second-tier encounter played this afternoon.
Musonda played the full match.
Magdeburg climb to third on the table with eight points from four games, two points behind leaders Dusseldorf.
Spain 🇪🇸: Mwepu scores on La Liga 2 debut
Francisco Mwepu came off the bench to score a late equalizer as Cadiz FC came from two goals down to hold CD Tenerife 2-2.
Mwepu poked home in additional time to steal a point for Cadiz.
