Zambian players abroad were in action over the weekend and it was a goals galore for the Zambians. Fashion Sakala, Rodrick Kabwe, Collins Mbesuma and Mwape Musonda were all on target.

Stophila Sunzu won promotion to Ligue one with Metz FC while Salulani Phiri set up a goal for Walter Musona in South Africa.

Gamphani Lungu was a second half substitute while Billy Mutale was an unused substitute for Supersport United in their one all draw with Bidvest Wits.

Mwape Musonda scored his 15th goal of the season but it was not enough as Maritzburg United beat his Black Leopards 2-1 to make sure they continue their winless run, Five games without a win now.

In Russia, Arsenal Tula played two games in four days beating Spartak Moscow 3-0 and then drawing 1-1 with Orenburg. Evans Kangwa was on target against Moscow and was a second half substitute against Orenburg.
