The opposition Patriotic Front -PF- has scooped the KAUMBWE parliamentary seat.
CHARLES NYANOKA of Party for National Unity and Progress -PNUP has trailed all the candidates with 1-hundred and 20 votes.
Returning Officer ALICK MTONGA announced the results this morning at 06:05 hours.
Mr. MTONGA said 13 thousand 1-hundred and 89 votes were cast against over 30 thousand registered voters.
He further said 3-hundred and 30 ballots were rejected.
The KAUMBWE seat was earlier earmarked for contest during the August 12, 2021, General election but could not take off as one of the candidates BONIFACE KHONDOWE of the United Party for National Development -UPND died shortly before the polls.
