PF SG Reassures ‘Black Mountain Families’ Of Total Support

Patriotic Front Secretary General Davies Mwila has assured families of the deceased black mountain accident victims that the ruling Party stands with them in this moment of grief and will not abandon them.

Mr. Mwila has also called on mining companies operating at the black mountain to meet and come up with support for the bereaved families.

Mr. Mwila made these remarks as he toured all the eleven bereaved families around Kitwe City.

And families to the deceased have asked President Edgar Lungu and his administration not to close the black mountain as it is a source of livelihood for many families in Kitwe.

They have instead called for enhanced safety measures at the black mountain.

The families have since thanked President Lungu for the support rendered during this moment of grief.

The Secretary General, in the Company of MCC Davies Chisopa and MCC Kebby Mbewe and has since concluded his mission on the Copperbelt Province.
