PF Secures Medical Equipment

By Hector SimfukweThe Patriotic Front (PF) has secured medical equipment from the Chinese Communist Party which will be distributed to schools and clinics that are ran by the Catholic Church in Zambia.PF Secretary General, Davies Mwila says schools and clinics that are operated by other churches will also benefit.Mr. Mwila says the PF has identified mission schools and clinics especially those in rural areas as some of the places that are in dire need of the equipment needed to fight the Coronavirus pandemic.He says the PF will continue assisting government to fight the Covid-19.Mr. Mwila said this when he received assorted medical items from the Chinese Communist Party in Lusaka.He also thanked the Chinese Communist Party for standing with Zambia during this difficult time.Mr. Mwila assured the Communist Party that the donated items will reach the beneficiaries.And, Chinese Ambassador to Zambia Li Jie said the Communist Party will continue collaborating with the PF.He said the Chinese government will continue looking at ways of working with Zambia to fight the Covid-19.Mr Li said China will continue to stand by Zambia both in good and bad times.He said the objectives of the Chinese Communist Party, that include fighting poverty, are similar to that of the PF hence the need to work together.
