PF MOURNS MUNTEMBA

PF has expressed sadness on the death of Zambia’s High Commissioner to Kenya Brenda Muntemba.
In his message of condolences to Ms Muntemba’s family, PF Secretary General Davies Mwila said the late High Commissioner was a hard-working civil servant who served the country diligently.
Mr. Mwila observed that it is unfortunate that Ms Muntemba’s death comes a few days after putting to rest late High Commissioner to Ghana, Rayford Mbulu.
He said Ms. Muntemba who died last night was part of the PF government’s mission in increasing the space for women in the area of leadership and decision making in all spheres.
Mr. Mwila said the late Ms Muntemba was a conscientious worker and a team player who served in other senior positions in the Police Service.
Ms. Muntemba served in various portfolios in the Zambia Police Service including holding the position of Police Commissioner for Southern Province.
She was appointed High Commissioner to Kenya in February 2015 by President Edgar Lungu.
