PF Mourns Kapapula

The Patriotic Front -PF- National Mobilisation Committee says it is saddened by the death of its member Booker Kapapula.Lusaka Province Mobilisation Committee chairperson Jeremy Chibuye says Mr. Kapapula., who was a senior PF member, died in the early hours of Tuesday, in Lusaka after a short illness.Mr. Chibuye says the death of Mr. Kapapula is a blow to the ruling party because of the valuable contributions he made to the party.He says the deceased was in 2019 appointed to be part of the National Mobilisation committee by the Central Committee of the party.He says Mr. Kapapula. was a gallant and selfless leader who worked tirelessly for the good of the ruling party and the country.Mr. Chibuye says President Edgar Lungu had a lot of confidence and trust in Mr. Kapapula., which is among the reasons he appointed him to the national committee.He said President Lungu has since sent a message of condolences to the family of Mr. Kapapula..This is contained in a statement made available to ZNBC News by PF Lusaka Province mobilisation committee Media Director George Chulumanda.
