PF-MMD pact a win-win deal – Mutati

The Felix Mutati-led MMD faction says its electoral pact with the PF is anchored on a win-win principle.

Leader Mutati says the former ruling party is working at helping the PF garner more than the 50 percent plus one electoral threshold for the winning Presidential candidate.

Speaking in Chisamba where he was campaigning for the MMD parliamentary candidate Naomi Muteteka, the forner Lunte MP says the MMD has a lot to offer to its partners in the PF.

Mutati also said the MMD will not go into oblivion and will one day bounce back to power.

He said his members are determined to make the party relevant on the political scene.

Mutati’s MMD faction has endorsed the candidature of Patriotic Fronts Edgar Lungu and the Nevers Mumba led MMD faction has gone with Opposition UPND.

However despite Mutati’s faction being in an electoral pact with PF, their have filed in nominations in some parliamentary seats against their electoral partners.
