PF Accuse Hichilema Of Arm Twisting Pres. Lungu

The ruling Patriotic Front says the call for unity by opposition United Party for National Development president Hakainde Hichilema is aimed at arm-twisting President elect Edgar Lungu into a Government of National Unity.

PF Secretary General Davies Chama says President Lungu cannot meet the UPND leader until he has urged his supporters in his strongholds to abandon its attacks on people suspected to have voted for the PF.

Chama has said the happenings in the Southern Province are consistent with Hichilema’s Armageddon doctrine.

Hichilema staged a call for a meeting with President Lungu in the face of the isolated incidences of violence in mostly UPND strongholds.
