Patson Daka’s quick brace sinks Feyenoord

Zambia’s export to Austria Patson Daka, struck twice in three minute to help his club Red Bull Salzburg to a 3 – 1 win over Dutch top club Feyenoord on Friday evening.

Salzburg are currently on pre-season shaping up for the 2019 / 20 season.

Daka was named in the starting eleven for the Austrian Champions in a game that Enock Mwepu missed. This game came in the wake of the 1 – 1 draw against Arsenal Tula which saw Lameck Banda shine with a goal and a stellar performance for the Russian club.

The technical bench seem to be priming the Zambian forward for a bigger role in the coming season as he was given a starting berth in this game as was the case against Arsenal in which he played the entire game.

The former Kafue Celtic striker did not disappoint as he weighed in with a quick brace – first neatly finishing a cut-back from the right, before he reacted first to a rebound to finish from close range.

Salzburg will play Chelsea in the Europa League on 31st July.
