Okello talks goals and efficiency ahead of Eagles clash

The CECAFA Kagame cup has reached an advanced stage with Newcomers Green Eagles handling the invite with an impressive performance against record 18-time Kenyan Champions Gor Mahia by beating them by two goals to one to reach the Semi-Finals.

For KCC FC they reached the semi-finals by beating Rayon Sports 2-1 to set up a crunchy encounter with the Kawale boys.

KCCA star midfielder Allan Okello has declared himself ready for the challenge and assured stability within he’s department against Green Eagles.

“Teamwork is all we need to make it to the finals, for the Strikers they have to burry all the chances in the game to raise the confidence of the team spirit during the game. As a team, we have been limping in terms of efficiency in almost all areas and we have a huge task to work on them before our next challenge. The Goals will be our only inspiration for better performances,” he said.

For Green Eagles, all eyes will be on the teams’ tournament top scorer Kennedy Musonda who has netted three goals so far in the tournament.

The two teams will go head to head on Friday at 15:00hrs for a chance to progress to the final with $30, 000 up for grabs as prize money.
