Nyasa Bullets stun Red Arrows

Nyasa Bullets beat Red Arrows 2-1 in the first leg of the CAF Champions.

The Malawian Champions came a goal down to record a vital victory against the Airmen.

Striker Ricky Banda gave the Zambian Champions the lead in the 57th to silence the home crowd at Bingu Stadium.

Cheered by the home crowd, Caristo Pasuwa’s side pushed for an equaliser and got their breakthrough in the 77th minute thanks to a powerful shot inside the penalty box from Babatunde Adepoju off a Yankho Singo assist.

Five minutes later Precious Phiri grabbed the winner.

Pasuwa’s side will travel to Lusaka next week for the return leg.
