Seven time Super League Champions, Sensational Zanaco on Saturday choked at home losing 2-0 to Kabwe Warriors in a week 15 of the MTN/FAZ Transitional Super League. The loss was the bankers second in a row following their 4-2 shock defeat away in Mazabuka and have now dropped to 3rd place in Stream A.

Despite losing Zanaco Head Coach Numba Mumamba told the Zamfoot Crew that the team will Capitalize on the remaining games in order to secure a better position as they look to represent the country in the CAF Inter-Clubs Competitions.

“I think our team preformed well and we created a lot of chances which we could not convert but the moment Warriors got the first goal it gave them the momentum to push hard,” Numba explained to the ZamFoot Crew.

“We still have a chance to play Continetal football if we can win the remaining games then we will be in a better position to represent the country. I think we still have a lot of chances if we win the remaining games,” He added.

Zesco United took charge and leapfrogged Zanaco and Red Arrows to move top of the log with 27 points. Reed Arrows are Second and Zanaco find themselves in third place with 26 points.

In the last three games the bankers will face tricky Red Arrows at home , Lusaka dynamos away and relegation threatened Kitwe United at home as they try to negotiate their way into the two continental football places.
