Numba describes win over Buffaloes as evenly contested affair

Sensational Zanaco coach Numba Mumamba described his teams 2-1 win over Green Buffaloes at Sunset Stadium on Saturday as a 50/50 affair .

Numba believes losing Peter Banda to a red card made his teams job in the match hard . The bankers gaffer expressed happiness with the two early goals his team scored before being reduced to ten men.

“The game was a 50/50 affair, Buffaloes came to the party. I think we did very well especially in the first half, we managed to get two early goals but the moment we lost Peter through a red card it became difficult for us,” he explained to the ZamFoot Crew in a post match interview.

” Our chances are still there all we need is just to win the remaining games,we have plans to reinforce our Central defence because that is our weekest point so will try and bring one or two defenders to strengthen our team,” He added.

The bankers fans were given fresh hope of finishing in the top after Numba Mumamba’s side returned to winning ways beating Green Buffaloes 2-1 on Saturday afternoon. Zanaco are back in the title race and currently occupy second place with 29 points,their next assignment will be against relegation threatened side Mufulira Wanderers.
