Forest Rangers started their life after Perry Mutapa to a good note with a well deserved one-nil win over struggling Kansanshi Dynamos at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.

Kansanshi Dynamos, on the other hand, have now gone seven games without a win and pressure is beginning to mount on the technical bench.
In the second match of the day, Buildcon faced off with Lusaka dynamos. Lusaka dynamos were the first side to settle and were in front after eight minutes, Moussa Lemisa heading home Ocean Mushure’s perfect cross at the near post to put Elite one-nil up.
Lusaka dynamos doubled their lead sixteen minutes later, Willy Stephanus with a beautifully curled strike from range catching the Buildcon goalkeeper off guard after he made a poor clearance and was off his line.
Buildcon finally settled to settle and nearly pulled one back in the 34th minute but Moses Phiri could not direct his free header with only Monga Ndala to beat. Chanda Mushili sent his header wide minutes later. Buildcon finally pulled one back at the death of the first half, Moses Phiri with a fantastic strike on the edge of the box.
Captain Chanda Mushili pulled his side level in the 63rd minute heading home Eric Kabulo’s cross to beat Ndala in the Lusaka dynamos’ goal. Both teams could not find the winning goal and settled for a point apiece, 2-2 the match ended.
