NO AGAINST ILLEGAL MOVEMENT OF LIVESTOCK

By Josiah Mpofu:The Zambia Livestock Cooperative Union has warned its members against illegal movement of livestock.Union President, Davison Nkhuwa says the organisation is saddened by the illegal livestock movement, which has caused the rampant spread of Foot and Mouth Disease.Mr. Nhkuwa said any of his members found wanting will face the wrath of the law.He said the increase in FMD cases in most districts in the country can only be curbed if the public and private sector join hands to fight the disease.
