Nkana jet out to Morocco to seal CAF Confederation Cup group stage slot

Zambia Super League defending Champions, NKANA has left for Casablanca, Morocco ahead of Sunday’s CAF Confederation Cup Pre-Group Stage 2nd Leg against TAS de Casablanca.

The team left at about 16:00hrs from Lusaka’s Kenneth Kaunda International Airport aboard Emirates Airlines. Nkana is expected to land in Morocco tomorrow Thursday, February 18.

The record 13-time Zambian Champions carry a two-goal lead thanks to a 2-0 win in the first leg thanks to goals from Fred Tshimenga and Obed Masumbuko.

The second leg match between TAS CASABLANCA and NKANA FC will be played on Sunday the 21st February 2021 at Stade Mohammed V stadium the home of Raja club athletic and Wydad Casablanca at 21:00 hrs Zambian time.

The winner of the encounter on aggregate qualifies to the group stage of the CAF confederation cup.
