Nkana finally out of relegation Zone, Wins for Zanaco, Power, Forest and Buffaloes

The Zambia Super League entered week twelve of action on Saturday with a number of mouth watering games taking place across the country.

Rejuvenated Sensational Zanaco welcomed inconsistent ZESCO United,Nkwazi paid Forest Rangers a visit while Green Buffaloes squared off with NAPSA Stars in a Lusaka derby.

In Kitwe, Record 13-Time Zambia Super League Champions, Nkana football club put an end to their nine match winless run thanks to a 2-1 win over Lumwana Radiants.

Goals from Harrison Chisala and Bob Chansa sandwiched a Josphat Kasusu goal for the visitors to hand Beston Chambeshi’s men a vital win.

The win means Nkana are out of the relegation Zone and move to 14th place with 12 points.

In Lusaka, John Sikaumbwe second minute strike wa enough as Zanaco made it two wins in a row edging Zega Mambo 1-0.

At Edwin Imboela Stadium, Green Buffaloes handed NAPSA Stars their second straight defeat as they recorded a 2-0 win.

Felon Sitonya converted from 12 yards after Golden Mashata was brought down in the box by Gift Zulu.

Zambia U-23 national team midfielder John Kosamu sealed the victory with 72nd minute strike.

In Ndola, Moyela Libamba scored the only goal of the game as Forest Rangers edged Nkwazi 1-0.

In Chambishi, Power Dynamos beat Chambishi 4-2 to go second thanks to a Kennedy Musonda brace. Brian Mwila and Tranquilin Kalonji Mwepu scored a goal each.

Meanwhile in Chingola it was all jubilation as Nchanga Rangers returned to winning ways finally edging Green Eagles 1-0 thanks to a Pedro Miguel goal.
