Nigerian Journalist Confirms Kalu’s Unpalatable WhatsApp Language

Kalusha - Wanker2Nigerian journalist Osasu Obayiuwana has published a series of tweets confirming screenshots Zambia’s former FAZ president Kalusha Bwalya used unpalatable language to address a fellow adult in a WhatsApp group discussion.

According to the screenshots, Kalusha called Kenyan football agent Francis Gaitho a “fucking wanker” for queKalusha-Wankerstioning the role the celebrated soccer star played during the country’s campaigns.

In the discussion, Obayiuwana advised Kalusha to desist from using unpalatable languange. The full article was published here by Zambia Reports.

Following the publication, Obayiuwana took to tweeter accusing Zambia Reports of unethical journalism but maintained he would stand by the advise he advanced to Kalusha.

EDITOR’S NOTE:

The discussion published was not a private conversation between two individuals, but a WhatsApp board comprising more than 10 members. In any case, private discussions by leaders such as Kalusha are held to a high standard.

Therefore, such conduct as displayed in the WhatsApps discussion group falls far below the bar set for our leaders. It’s not the fault of any media to mirror the behaviour of its leaders.
