NC’WALA IN MORE DONATIONS

Madison Financial Services PLC has donated 25-thousand kwacha towards the Nc’wala Ceremony of the Ngoni people which takes place this Saturday.
Speaking during the cheque presentation ceremony in Lusaka on behalf of Madison Group, Madison Life Insurance Managing Director Agnes Chakonta said the group supports traditional ceremonies because they focus on enriching the country’s rich culture.
Ms. Chakonta said the support rendered is part of the corporate social responsibility by Madison Group.
And Nc’wala organising committee Vice Chairperson Besty Nkhoma expressed happiness with the gesture by Madison Insurance.
Meanwhile, Zamtel has also donated 20 thousand Kwacha towards the hosting of the Nc’wala ceremony.
Nc’wala National Organising Committee 2019 Chairperson M’kwinda Sakala who received the cheque thanked Zamtel for its contribution to the ceremony.
And Zamtel Head of Corporate and Government Affairs Reuben Kamanga said traditional ceremonies play a vital role in preserving the country’s tradition and culture.
