Napsa Stars to host six team preseason tournament

Zambia Super League side Napsa Stars will host a six-team preseason tournament between Friday 2nd October and Monday, October 5th, the club has confirmed.

The tournament will see newcomers Indeni, Sensational Zanaco, Green Buffaloes and Continental football bound Green Eagles, Forest Rangers, and the hosts NAPSA Stars.

The tournament will be hosted at Lusaka’s National Heroes Stadium.

“NAPSA Stars Football Club is delighted to announce that the club has invited five other teams for a Big Six Preseason Preparatory Tournament scheduled for Friday, October 2nd to Monday, October 5th, 2020. The tournament which will be staged at The National Heroes Stadium is meant to prepare NAPSA Stars FC and the invited teams both for Continental competitions as well as the 2020/2021 FAZ Super League Season.

The teams that have confirmed participation for this tournament include Forest Rangers FC, Green Eagles FC, and Zanaco FC, Indeni FC, Green Buffaloes FC, and NAPSA Stars FC.”

The tournament will kick off on Friday 2nd October 2020 at Heroes Stadium at 1300 and closes at Heroes Stadium at 1800. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, all the matches will be played under closed doors.

The teams are grouped as follows:-


Group A- Green Eagles, Green Buffaloes, Forest Rangers


Group B- Indeni, NAPSA Stars, ZANACO
