NAMWANGA ROYAL ESTABLISHMENT THANKS -HH

The Namwanga Royal Establishment has thanked President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA for honouring Chieftainess WAITWIKA of the Namwanga people of Nakonde District.

This was during the commemoration of the Africa Freedom Day held at State House in Lusaka on May 25, 2022.

Chairperson for the Establishment MULASI SIAME says the President’s gesture is a clear indication that he is resolved to unite all Zambians.

In a statement to ZNBC News today, Mr. SIAME said the Head of State needs the support of everyone to achieve this objective.

He said the Namwanga Royal Establishment and its people are happy with the gesture and have since wished President HICHILEMA God’s blessings as he leads the nation.

The Chieftainess was awarded with the President’s Insignia of Honour.

The award was given to her for the role she has played in uniting her Chiefdom and in fighting vices which include child marriages and Gender Based Violence -GBV- among others.
