Vice President MUTALE NALUMANGO says  investigative wings will only release the names of people involved in the 41 frozen Bank accounts and the 72 motor vehicles that were found at a private property when investigations are concluded.

She said this in response to Moomba Member of Parliament FRED CHATILA who wanted to know when the list of names of the people involved in the two cases will be given to the public.

And Mrs NALUMANGO clarified that the National Pension Scheme Authority- NAPSA- will not send money to China meant to finance the Lusaka – Ndola dual carriage way because the money is specifically meant to work on the road.

Mrs NALUMANGO said this in response to Nkana Member of Parliament BINWELL MPUNDU who wanted to know why government cannot consider NAPSA and Workers Compensation Fund Control Board to fully finance the construction of the road to avoid letting foreign companies collect toll fees.

She said NAPSA is only financing a fraction of the project and wished that they had the capacity but that a model has been decided and going back and forth will just derail the project.

Meanwhile the vice President has assured the nation that the audit report that will be produced by the Auditor General’s Office will be credible.

Mrs. NALUMANGO says reports by the office of the Auditor General are not dependent on an individual person as it is a system.

She says transfers at the Office of the Auditor General does not mean that the Auditor General’s report would not be produced or its credibility questioned.

Mrs NALUMANGO said this during the Vice President’s question time in parliament in response to leader of opposition BRIAN MUNDUBILE.
