Nalumango tells Youths to be self-reliant and enterprising

Vice President MUTALE NALUMANGO has encouraged youths  to be self-reliant and enterprising so that they can transform their lives and contribute to national development.

Mrs NALUMANGO says youths should take advantage of the available opportunities to effectively contribute to the economic development of the country.

She says the government is resolved to ensure that youths are equipped with the right skills and resources through more investments to enable them thrive.

Mrs NALUMANGO said this in a speech read on her behalf by the Water Development Minister MIKE MPOSHA at the Youth Careers Fair during the National Youth Week in Lusaka.

Youth and Sports Minister ELVIS NKANDU said young people should accelerate their contribution in shaping the development and economic transformation of the country.

And UNDP Resident representative, JAMES WAKIAGA said the UN will continue to support initiatives that empower youths in the country.

Mr. WAKIAGA said this in a speech read on his behalf by UN Resident Coordinator BEATRICE MUTALI.
