Chipolopolo midfield ace Enock Mwepu scored a brace while striker Patson Daka chipped in with an assist as Redbull Salzburg thrashed SK Puntigamer Sturm Graz 4-0 to storm another final of the UNIQA OFB Cup on Wednesday afternoon.

Salzburg made a trip to the Wörthersee Stadion in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee to face a Sturm Graz for the second time in just three days after losing to them in the league this time they squared off in the UNIQA OFB Cup semifinals.

After a tricky start to the match, Enock Mwepu finally broke the deadlock in the 36th minute with a glancing header, connecting well with a Zlatko Junuzovic corner.

Mwepu was at it again nine minutes into the second half with another header, Junuzovic swept a free-kick towards the far post where the Zambian connected superbly to send it across the target and in for his second goal of the night, 2-0.

Germany U-21 forward Mergïm Berisha made it three in the 72nd minute with what seemed to be a cross after a fine ball from Patson Daka. Six minutes later, American winger Brenden Aaronson made it four. Salzburg punished some tired defending from Sturm for their fourth goal.

The hosts gave the ball away and it was turned inside to Adeyemi, who skipped past the last defender and then just had to roll it across to Aaronson, who fired into the empty net, 4-0 the match ended.

Salzburg will face tricky LASK Linz in the final on 1st May 2021.
