MWALE CHALLENGES COUNCIL ON INCOME

Minister of Native Authorities Vincent Mwale has challenged councils to put money into profits producing initiatives to discontinue the over dependency on the central govt.
And Mr Mwale has praised Kazungula council for being up to this point with workers’ salaries.
The Minister mentioned this in Kazungula when he officially opened a three-million Kwacha Kazungula Council Hotel which is projected will maintain a 6-hundred thousand kwacha profit every year for the native authority.
Mr Mwale says councils ought to lower dependency on central govt by arrangement of initiatives worship the resort for the Kazungula council which used to be constructed with funds from the Native Authorities Equalisation Fund and within the neighborhood sourced sources.
And Kazungula Council Chairperson, Eason Musokotwane mentioned the council intends to maintain bigger the resort facility to encompass extra rooms and a swimming pool.
Mr. Musokotwane mentioned the council remains committed to organising and bettering the shipping of companies within the district.
