Muwowo to decide his future after COSAFA

The 2019 Transitional league joint top goalscorer Austin ‘The Genius’ Muwowo has revealed that he will only make a decision about his future at the end of the 2019 COSAFA Championships.

Muwowo was one of the standout players in the just ended season and managed to score 10 goals be joint top goalscorer with team mate Zikiru Adams and Napsa Stars striker Laudit Mavugo.

The Nkana on loan to Forest Rangers play maker has been linked with a move to Orlando Pirates for some time now . He confirmed that a number of teams had shown interest but he was only going to decide after the Cosafa tournament.

“A number of Clubs have been contacting me but at the moment am not going anywhere. We will see what we happen after the COSAFA, ” Muwowo told Forest Rangers media.

Muwowo is currently still under contract with Super League side Nkana . His contract with the Kitwe giants will however come to an end in December.

Muwowo is currently in South Africa with the Zambia national team who are scheduled to face Malawi in the quarter finals of the on going COSAFA Championships.
