The MTN/FAZ Super league will enter the final round of matches this weekend with 10 matches on the menu, Five from Stream A on Saturday and the remaining five from Stream B on Sunday.

As the league concludes the race for the golden boot is still on with Burundian striker Laudit Mavugo and Forest Rangers influential attacking midfielder Austin Muwowo as front runners on 10 goals each after 17 matches played across the two streams.

Muwowo has been an influential figure for Fole Malembe and arguably the best player in the league this season while Mavugo has been a real goal getter for Napsa Stars .

Muwowo’s team mate Zikiru Adams is chasing closing with nine goals to his name and in with the big chance of winning the golden boot. Chris Mugalu will need to pass a late fitness test to stand a chance to get a shot at a second Golden boot after winning it back in 2017.

Roger Kola who was the early leader is out of contention due to injury as he remains stuck on eight goals.Tafadzwa Rusike and Jesse Jackson Were on the other hand need to score a hatrick to go above the Stream B duo and take up the lead.

Emmanuel Chabula, Bruce Musakanya, Biston Banda, Chitiya Mususu and Lazarus Kambole have an outside chance of winning it but you can never say never in football.
